Over 150 Ways to Care for Trees on City of Forest Day!

The fifth annual City of Forest Day is on Saturday, October 3, with over 150 events taking place across the five boroughs. Whether you want to get your hands dirty stewarding street trees, meditate among trees in a forested park, learn about our city's food forests, or create tree-inspired art, City of Forest Day has an event for you.

To celebrate your hard work, on Tuesday, October 6, join fellow volunteers and event hosts at our City of Forest Day after-party in Robert F. Wagner Park, where we will celebrate the magical moments that have happened across five years of City of Forest Day.

Climate Week NYC — Beyond the Goldenrod: Sharing Stories of Native Plant Gardens

There's still time to register for our highly anticipated Climate Week NYC conversation. Learn why urban gardeners decided to start or maintain a native plant garden and how they have been able to educate and engage their surrounding community through stewardship. Gain insight into the impact of native plant gardens on surrounding green spaces, members of grassroots groups, and the broader community. There will be a prize raffle for those who attend!

Join Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage for Music for Action: A Climate Week Concert with Young the Giant and St. Lucia in partnership with LymeLnk and supported by the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation’s Cohen Lyme and Tickborne Disease Initiative.
