As Chair of the Senate Health Committee, Senator Rivera recently joined the efforts led by Assembly Member Jessica Gonzalez Rojas and State Senator Brad Hoylman asking the Center for Disease Control for more monkeypox vaccines and the antiviral needed to treat this disease effectively, TPOXX. The health of New Yorkers comes first, and that means that we need to do everything we can to keep New Yorkers informed and protected against this epidemic. |
