The State's collaborative efforts with Gold Star organizations and local County Veteran Service Organizations ensure that awareness and access to these programs are widespread.
New York State Department of Veterans’ Services Commissioner Viviana DeCohen said, "Gold Star Mother's and Families exemplify the spirit of selfless service, preserving the legacy of their loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for our State and Nation. It is our duty and privilege to provide them with the highest level of support, a commitment we continue to uphold with honor."
