The affordable housing lottery has launched for 3991 Saxon Avenue, a six-story residential building in Kingsbridge, The Bronx. Designed by Badaly Architects and developed by Leunard Vushaj, the structure yields 17 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 17 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $105,840 to $250,380.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies and a shared laundry room. Residences come with name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes, and tiled bathrooms. Tenants are responsible for electricity including stove and heat. Hot water is included in the rent.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are four studios with a monthly rent of $3,087 for incomes ranging from $105,840 to $161,590; one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,298 for incomes ranging from $113,075 to $181,740; eight two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,939 for incomes ranging from $135,052 to $218,010; and four three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $4,533 for incomes ranging from $155,418 to $250,380.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than June 27, 2024.
