THE WEEK IN REVIEW
BRONX MUSEUM OF THE ARTS
GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY
The Bronx Museum of the Arts for inviting me & my Bronx colleagues to participate in your groundbreaking ceremony!
Cultural expression is an investment to the community that should be accessible to all, including here in the Bronx.
Thanks to a partnership between NYCEDC and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Bronxites will now have FREE, equitable access to experiencing and fostering their own cultural appreciation.

FLOATING LADY POOL VISIT
Fun Fact:
The Floating Lady Pool is not just a pool, it’s a floating pool located in a retrofitted barge that’s currently docked in Barretto Point Park in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. Best of all, it’s the only floating pool in the country!
MELROSE SENIOR CENTER VISIT
Stopped by the Melrose Senior Center to visit with our Bronx seniors as they enjoyed a morning of games and community-building activities.
We must continue providing cooling centers like the one at Melrose to ensure that our Seniors have a safe space to gather during these dangerous heatwaves that we’ve been experiencing.
