Throggs Neck BID Appreciation Day

It was pushed back one day because of the weather, and hundreds of people came Sunday to the Derosa-O'Boyle Triangle on East Tremont Avenue to appreciate the Throggs Neck Business Improvement District, the 45th Precinct Community Affairs Division, Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato, and State Senator Nathalia Fernandez.

Throggs Neck BID Executive Director Bob Jaen, the police department, and elected officials came through with delicious free food, free gifts, bouncy houses, music, and the NYPD Game Truck.

A dozen volunteers manned the food tables to hand out some delicious local Throggs Neck food.

HK Kitchen was on hand to give out some of their delicious chicken wings with the sauce of your liking.

You can see how crowded the triangle was, here free gifts were being given out at the table shared by the Throggs Neck BID and Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato.

Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato welcomed everybody and thanked Throggs Neck BID Executive Director Bobby Jaen for his hard work in organizing the event. In the background you can see one of the Bouncy Houses.

The NYPD Game Truck from the Community Affairs Bureau had video games for the kids to play.

Inside the NYPD Game Truck, it seemed that the kids were not the only ones playing the video games.
