In response to yesterday's New York Times article, State Senator Gustavo Rivera (33rd District, The Bronx) released the following statement:
"Six countries and another resignation, all in one day?! This dysfunction is unlike anything I've seen, and clearly, the Mayor’s appointees are jumping off a sinking ship."
"Adams is unfit to lead the great people of New York City. He should do New Yorkers a favor and RESIGN. If he does not, I urge all New Yorkers to leave Adams off their ballots next June."
