2023 CHILDREN’S COAT DISTRIBUTION!
As we approach the cold Winter months, it’s important to give back and ensure our kids are equipped with the proper gear to stay warm and healthy.
I co-hosted a Children’s Coat Distribution alongside Urban Health Plan, Inc., Ponce Bank, Southern Boulevard Business Improvement District, Freddy Perez Jr, and the 41st. Precinct Community Council, where we handed out free coats, hats, and gloves to #SouthBronx children of all ages!

For far too long, Bronx children have been forced to tip-toe their way into their schools because needles laced with fentanyl are carelessly thrown on sidewalks and green spaces surrounding their school entrances.
The increase in availability of Naloxone kits in our City’s schools, as a result of the passage of my bill, Intro 198, will help save lives.
With these preventative measures in place, we are protecting our children, our teachers, and our parents.
