December is Winter Haven at Wave Hill! As a reminder, we’re open late Thursday and Friday evenings with free family events on Thursdays, ending with a Winter Solstice Sunset Walk and Wishes Celebration on Dec 21.
Friday Nights in the Garden events for 21+. Come learn to Salsa from Ailey Extension instructors at Latin Social Night (Dec 8) and how to craft cocktails and floral arrangements while Jazz, Mixology & Mistletoe (Dec 15). Our shop is open late too with unique gifts for all ages, so you can take care of some last-minute shopping while you enjoy an evening out and stroll the gardens at night.
Wave Hill will be closed on New Year’s Day and close early New Year’s Eve. Family Art Project will resume January 6–7.

Join a knowledgeable Wave Hill Garden Guide for a leisurely stroll in the gardens. Topics vary by season and the expertise of the Guide--come back for an encore; each walk varies with the Guide leading it. This walk lasts a half-hour to 45 minutes. Public Garden Walks are most appropriate for adults or young adults.
