Reminders

1. Shabbos
   
   

   Shabbos information is, as always, available on our website, both in the information sidebar and the events calendar.
   Here are the times you need:  
   Shabbos Candles Friday 8/9/24 @ 7:43 pm
   Shabbos morning services at 8:40 am.  Please join the services if you can do so safely. 
   Shabbos Ends Saturday 8/10/24 @ 8:46 pm
   If you require an aliyah or would like to lead services, read from the torah or haftorah please speak to one of the gabbaim.
    

2. Tish B’AvServices - schedule correction
   The time for services on Erev Tish B’Av, 8/12/24 as shown in the Center Light has been changed to 9PM. They will be held, as announced at KCI, 3220 Arlington Ave.

   If you need transportation to KCI please let the office know or email president@vcjewishcenter.org
   

3. Tish B’Av fasting times
   The fast starts Monday evening, 8/12/24 at 7:57PM.
   The fast ends Tuesday evening, 8/13/24 at 8:40PM

4. Tish B’Av documentary film
   The Tish B’Av documentary from Aish, OCTOBER, VOICES OF PAIN, HOPE, AND HEROISM, can be viewed for free.  Register at Aish to have a link emailed to you on August 12-13.
