We’re excited to share some key opportunities and events that celebrate and strengthen our borough. This month, we invite you to get involved, support local businesses, and uplift our vibrant cultural scene!
First, Community Board applications are now open! If you’re passionate about making a difference in your neighborhood, this is your chance to serve. The deadline to apply is March 9, 2025—don’t miss this opportunity to help shape local policies and initiatives.
Next, Savor the Bronx is back from February 18–23, 2025! Our annual Restaurant Week highlights the Bronx's incredible culinary diversity, offering special deals and menus at participating eateries across the borough. It’s the perfect time to support our local restaurants and discover new favorites.
Finally, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the 2025 Cultural Grant applications! These grants support artists, organizations, and cultural institutions that bring creativity and enrichment to our communities. Applications are open now, and the submission deadline is March 3, 2025.

We had the privilege of visiting the Riverdale Y alongside Governor Kathy Hochul and Assembly Member Jeffrey Dinowitz.
It was a great opportunity to engage with the community, discuss vital local initiatives, and strengthen partnerships for a better Bronx!
 | I met with ‘We Are the Bronx Fellowship Against Hate’—standing united against discrimination, bigotry, and violence. The Bronx is a borough of diversity, strength, and resilience, and we will continue to fight for a community where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.
| We partnered with The Bronx Health Link to host an incredible baby workshop, providing parents and caregivers with essential resources, tips, and support for raising healthy, happy little ones.
