Meeting with the Community Advisory Board (CAB) July 17th, 2025

Councilwoman Marmorato recently participated in a meaningful and productive meeting with the Community Advisory Board (CAB) at Montefiore Einstein. Together, they engaged in a thoughtful discussion focused on community priorities, ongoing progress, and opportunities for continued partnership to support local residents.

Presenting Citations with NYPD 49th Precinct Clergy Council July 18th, 2025

Last Friday night, our office had the honor of presenting official citations to four outstanding high school seniors who were awarded scholarships by the NYPD 49th Precinct Clergy Council.

These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication, hard work, and a strong commitment to their education and community.

Congratulations to Jaleel, Shaniyah, Shayne, and Stanton on this well-deserved recognition and your

remarkable achievements!

Honoring Loreto Playground

Loreto Playground is more than just a place for concerts, games, and joyful memories—it’s a space that holds a powerful legacy and a solemn significance for our community.

On Monday, we paused to reflect and honor the ultimate sacrifice made by Patrolman Alfred Loreto, who gave his life in the line of duty 75 years ago while serving our city with courage and dedication. His bravery and selflessness continue to inspire us and remind us of the true meaning of service.

As we remember Patrolman Loreto, we also pay tribute to all the brave men and women who have lost their lives protecting others. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
