The affordable housing lottery has launched for Crotona Belmont Senior Housing, a ten-story residential building at 1883 Crotona Avenue in Crotona, The Bronx. Designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning and developed by SEBCO Development, the structure yields 134 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 92 units for residents of 62-plus years in age at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $0 to $87,480.

Amenities include a shared laundry room, common area Wi-Fi, gym, spa, yoga and dance studio, community center, media room, party room, recreation room, outdoor terrace, recycling center, package lockers, virtual dorman, and community events and classes. Residences are equipped with intercoms, air conditioning, smart controls for heating and cooling, energy-efficient appliances, name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes, and patios or balconies. Tenants are responsible for electricity including stove.
At 50 percent of the AMI, there are five studios with a monthly rent equivalent to 30 percent of their income for incomes ranging from $0 to $64,800; and five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent equivalent to 30 percent of their income for incomes ranging from $0 to $72,900.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 43 studios with a monthly rent equivalent to 30 percent of their income for incomes ranging from $0 to $77,760; and 39 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent equivalent to 30 percent of their income for incomes ranging from $0 to $87,480.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 30, 2026.
