NYGOP Launches "Hochul's House of Horrors" to Shine a Spotlight on Democrat Policies Driving New Yorkers Away

NYGOP

Launch coincides with Hochul’s 2025 State of the State in Albany today

In response to Kathy Hochul’s 2025 State of the State address, the New York State Republican Party today announced the launch of a new page on its website, "Hochul's House of Horrors," a comprehensive and regularly updated resource highlighting the devastating policies of Governor Kathy Hochul and the Democratic Party that have accelerated outmigration and harmed hardworking New Yorkers.

"Hochul's House of Horrors" will serve as a hub to track and expose the reckless decisions and failed leadership driving New York’s exodus crisis. The page will document the skyrocketing cost of living, crippling tax burden, rampant crime, out-of-control spending, and anti-business climate created under Governor Hochul’s administration, as well as other damaging policies that have made life unaffordable and unsafe for families across the state.

"Under Kathy Hochul and one-party Democratic rule, New York has become the poster child for bad governance," said NYGOP Chair Ed Cox. "People are voting with their feet, leaving the Empire State in droves because of higher taxes, worsening public safety, and a hostile business environment. With 'Hochul's House of Horrors,' we are holding her accountable for every policy that pushes New Yorkers out and tarnishes the future of our great state.”

As Kathy Hochul gears up for her reelection campaign this cycle, Hochul’s House of Horrors" will be updated regularly to track Hochul and Democrats’ latest destructive policies. The url for the page is nygop.org/hhh
