This week was filled with community connection. We wrapped up our backpack giveaway with our friends in Little Yemen, co-sponsored the street co-naming for Preston High School, celebrated the grand opening of Metro Acres supermarket, and continued our food initiative in Throggs Neck. To top it off, we were thrilled to host Vince the dancing umpire from The Savannah Bananas at Throgs Neck Little League.

Backpack Giveaway September 3, 2025

Last week we wrapped up our backpack giveaway with our friends over in Little Yemen.

To welcome the new school year, our office distributed over 1000 backpacks and school supplies to our District 13 students.

We wish everyone a wonderful school year ahead.

Preston High School Way September 4, 2025

It was an aboslute honor to have sponsored the co-naming of Preston High School Way.

This was an incredibly significant and beautiful event, and I am so proud of what we were able to accomplish.

This was a tribute to the legacy, success, and continued path for the school, students, faculty, and community.

Hot Meals September 6, 2025

It's always great to partner with the Throggs Neck BID to give back to our community. Last Saturday, we gave out 200 hot meals at the DeRosa O'Boyle Triangle.

What an amazing turnout & generous event! Always happy to support the efforts of our community members coming together to provide resources for one another.

Metro Acres

Our third stop last Saturday at the ribbon cutting of the brand new Metro Acres supermarket on E. Tremont & Dudley Ave.
