What was the last time you were in Van Cortlandt Park? Did you hike a trail? Attend our Juneteenth event? Relax to the music of local artists? See a movie under the stars?
Van Cortlandt Park Alliance made that happen. A place for fun, relaxation, and community, Van Cortlandt Park is your backyard, and VCPA is your partner to help you explore and see the park like never before. The Alliance has welcomed millions from NYC and beyond to our free and inclusive programming all year round, maintains gorgeous hiking and cross country trails, offers free and inclusive programming, and career readying internships for local youth.
We can't do it alone! Programs like Starlight Cinema, free movies in the park all September, and Wags to Witches in October, serve our neighbors, and we need your help to keep these programs going.
We hope you will join us and also consider supporting our programs by giving a recurring gift.
It’s like a monthly subscription to your favorite app, but you will help enrich your community with meaningful programs all year round. A recurring gift is easy and safe to set up, easy to budget, and helps VCPA plan for the upcoming year.
Think of it this way:
- $10 per month is $120 a year = tools for maintaining natural areas
- $20 per month is $240 a year = waders to remove invasive plants from our pond
- $40 per month is $400 = 2 school field trip visits
- $50 per month is $600 = partial stipend for summer intern
