I hope you and your families are doing well as we are bracing for a full return to normalcy, while we don’t let the guard down and encourage all those non-vaccinated to get vaccinated.

October is right around the corner and in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we are hosting two Mammogram Events on October 2nd and October 16th. Check the fliers in this newsletter and RSVP to our office at 728-931-1721.

After we passed third-party food delivery app legislation to protect partnering restaurants, this week my colleagues and I passed legislation to protect workers. Delivery for third-party food apps has provided employment and additional income streams as New Yorkers adapt to the turbulent COVID economy. We want to secure these opportunities, elevating the worker experience and their quality-of-life and I am proud to cosponsor three bills in the package.

The City of New York is offering a temporary program allowing constituents to pay a reduced amount for eligible Environmental Control Board judgments. If anyone has unpaid OATH ECB judgments that are eligible for the FAIRER Program, they may be able to save up to 75% and have the penalties and interest associated with your judgments waived. Key to NYC Pass

As of August 17, Key to NYC — proof of Covid vaccination is required for entry into bars, restaurants, fitness gyms, movie and stage theatres, museums and other indoor venues. There are multiple ways to show proof of vaccination such as hard copy of CDC vaccination card, NYC COVID Safe App, NYS Excelsior App, Official vaccine record, A photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside the US for the following vaccines: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac.
